We work through the pile, following the care labels. Shirts take longer than t-shirts or pillowcases, which is why we quote by the hour rather than by the item.
4. Put away
Everything is hung up or folded and put away where you asked, so there is no new pile to deal with.
5. Make it regular
If the basket never empties, ironing can sit inside a weekly or fortnightly clean, with folding and tidying of clean laundry added too.
